This is an advanced Tajweed course for those who have in depth knowledge of the Tajweed rules. This course concludes all the Usool of Imam Hafs an Asim and includes a special course in the Riwayah of Imam Shu’bah an Asim for those who are interested in completing the Qira’ah of Asim.

Course Description:

This intensive 2-day workshop is designed for advanced Tajweed students and Qiraa’ah learners who wish to refine their understanding and application of Tafkheem (heaviness) and Tarqeeq (lightness) in Quranic recitation.

Using the classical poem Ash-Shatibiyyah as the foundation, the course explores the detailed rulings and subtle nuances of articulation, especially in the context of Qiraa'ah Warsh. Students will also benefit from insights drawn from Jazariyyah and Sabeel ash-Shāfiʿī, ensuring a well-rounded and scholarly approach to this vital science.


Ghaytul Quloob, the second level of our Tajweed curriculum, is designed for those who wish to deepen their understanding of the rules of Tajweed and enhance their recitation of the Qur'an. In this course, students will learn advanced principles of Tajweed that cover both the theoretical and practical aspects of Qur'anic recitation.

The course will explore in-depth topics such as the biography of Imaam Aasim and Hafs, the seven dialects of the Qur'an, and the foundational principles of Qiraat. Students will also gain mastery over the various rules and techniques of correct recitation, with special attention given to Makharijul Huroof (places of articulation) and Sifaat ul Huroof (qualities of letters).


Quranic Voyage – Juzz Amma Adventure

This eloquent piece of work is named after its author Imam Abū Muzāḥim Mūsā al-Khāqānī and it is the first poem written about tajwīd. It was written before many of the famous poems of tajwīd. The poem consists of 51 lines and each line beautifully packed with advice to the reader of the Qur’an.

Description:

Sharh Al-Jazariyyah is studying the famous poem of Tajwīd, ‘Al-Jazariyyah’ by the teacher and prominent Imām of Qira'āt, Muhammad Ibn Muhammad Ibn Muhammad Ibn Ali Ibn Yusuf Ibn Al-Jazari. Students will grasp the fundamental rules of Tajwīd theory by going through a detailed explanation of the widely recognized and taught text.

  • There will be a Written/Oral placement test

This program is designed for students who wish to become fluent in reciting the Qur’an in accordance with the rules of Tajweed and their application.

This is an advanced ijazah (authorization) course in Tajwīd (Qur'anic recitation rules), designed specifically for students who have previously completed studies in Al-Tuhfah or Al-Jazariyyah. The course offers an in-depth exploration of advanced Tajwīd concepts, with a focus on refining recitation techniques and covering additional topics for a more comprehensive understanding of Qur'anic phonetics and articulation.

Course Description:
This short but rich course takes you on a focused journey into Riwayah Warsh ‘An Nafi’, one of the most well-known Qirā’āt of the Qur’an.

Over 10 intensive sessions, students will explore:
✅ The history and chain of transmission (Sanad) of Warsh
✅ Key characteristics that differentiate Warsh from Hafs
✅ Practical application of Warsh rules in recitation
✅ Selected ayat for practice and correction
✅ Tips for developing fluency in Warsh Qirā’ah

The course is ideal for:

  • Sisters with basic Tajweed background

  • Hafs reciters who want to explore Warsh

  • Students of Qirā’āt

  • Anyone wishing to enrich their connection with the Qur’an through varied modes of recitation

By the end of the course, students will have a clear understanding of Warsh rules and the ability to apply them in their personal recitation.


Prerequisite:

  • Students must have studied all the rules of Tajweed, understood them and have fully grasped it.

  • Students must be able to recite the Qur’aan fluently with perfection, whilst applying all the rules of Tajweed.

  • This course is aimed at students who wish to study different Qiraa’aat along with the explanation of their rules (by the way of Ash-Shaatibiyyah).
